Geocoins

CW88's Geocoins

I have been designing and producing Geocoins since 2010.

For those that don’t know what a Geocoin is, it is basically a metal ‘coin’ that is engraved with a unique tracking number, which allows it to be logged from place to place by players as it travels around the world in the global ‘treasure hunting’ game of Geocaching. Over the years they have also become highly collectable. However if you find one in a Geocache, unless it is unactivated, please move it on as it belongs to someone else and likely has some kind of mission or goal.

Below are all of the different designs I have created over the years (including a couple I have designed for other people). Each one was made in multiple finishes and I have produced thousands of coins over the years, to customers in over 35 countries. I prided myself on high quality, unique designs as I see Geocoins almost like handheld pieces of art, and always liked to push the idea of what a ‘coin’ could be. As a result, many of my designs were highly sought after and often sold out quickly. I also took pride in my customer service and rapid responses to make sure all my customers were happy.

Unfortunately the general interest in Geocoins seemed to decline in the last couple of years, meaning I had to stop most of my production. So although Geocoins are no longer my main focus, I would still be happy to create more if the demand is there. Most of my coins are now sold out, but any remaining stock is available from my shop.

For minting numbers, I may add those again on this page, but quite a lot of that information can be found here, on the awesome Secret Society of Coin Addicts Wiki page. Unfortunately most of my designs are completely sold out and whatever I have left is on my shop. If you can’t find what you are looking for, your best chance is to ask on the geocoin forums or Facebook groups, as there are plenty of people there who can likely help you out.
